Team Knightro Tryout Information
Spring 2019 Auditions for the 2019-20 School Year
Information Meeting :
Please plan to attend the information meeting scheduled in the Burnett Honors College Lobby. Friday, April 12th from 5pm.- 7pm.
Because most students have little or no mascot experience prior to college, we like to hold a meeting in advance to answer any questions and to reassure everyone that no prior experience is required and we will teach you everything that you need to know.
There will be a time for question and answer as this is an informational and instructional meeting. We will also give general instructions about character development and how the costume is assembled in addition to discussing the actual audition /tryout process.
Please call or e-mail in advance to ensure you are on the list of applicants. Michael.callahan@ucf.edu or 407.823.2153. We also request that you fill out a Team Knightro Prospect Information sheet.
Team Knightro Auditions/Tryouts:
Knightro Tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, April 13th at the Burnett Honors College Lobby from 9am-5pm. You must be available for the entire time.
What if you don't know much about being a mascot and you are not ready to commit?
We recommend that you attend one of the Friday informational meeting. You will have an opportunity to learn about the program and we will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. You should also feel free to contact our mascot Coach Mike Callahan (Michael.callahan@ucf.edu) with questions prior to the April 12th meeting
