Times for the remaining league games will be released at a later date. The majority of those contests will feature kickoff times that will be announced by TV networks approximately 12 days prior to each game.

The American Athletic Conference Championship Game will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, at noon and air on ABC or ESPN.

The 2016 season will be the first under the direction of head coach Scott Frost, and it will be the 38th campaign of UCF football overall.

UCF and South Carolina State will clash in the opener which will be the second meeting between the teams. The Knights posted a 17-0 victory over the Bulldogs to begin the 2008 campaign. A week later, the Black and Gold will visit Ann Arbor for the first time for a noon kickoff with Michigan, while another Big Ten program is on the slate when Maryland makes the trek to Bright House Networks Stadium Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. The non-conference schedule closes out with a road game at FIU Sept. 24 at 7 p.m.

The lone conference game with a kickoff time so far is UCF's only midweek tilt when it hosts Tulane Friday, Oct. 7, at 8 p.m.
