For the first time in history, the nation's top collegiate golfers come to Daytona Beach to swing for the most prestigious prize in women's golf: the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Golf National Championship. Twenty-four programs from around the nation, as well as six individual qualifiers, gather at the home of the LPGA on May 22-25. They will tee it up on LPGA International's Legends Course, which annually hosts the tour's Qualifying School. Duke University tries to win a 3rd consecutive NCAA crown, a feat that hasn't been accomplished since Arizona State went back-to-back-to-back 12 years ago. The NCAA Division I Women's Golf National Championship is hosted by UCF and the Central Florida Sports Commission.
