Tim Foskett - Baseball (1980-83) - Class of 2002

As a senior at nearby Colonial High School, Tim Foskett opted to forgo opportunities at other schools and stay home to play for first-year head coach Jay Bergman. Foskett mostly made Bergman proud from the 1980-83 seasons. Most notably, Foskett became UCF's first All-American in the sport, doing so at the Division II level in 1983.

He earned All-South honors in 1980, and also earned All-Sunshine State Conference honors in 1983. He ranks second all-time at UCF in hits with 289, and is second only to UCF Athletics Hall of Fame member Tim Barker in career stolen bases with 92. He is also second in career sacrifices (28) and fifth in career batting average (.363).

In his senior season, Foskett was all-everything for UCF. That year he led the Knights in games played, batting average, at-bats, runs scored, hits, triples, total bases, stolen bases and walks, and did not commit a single error. That same year, he was the conference leader in games played, hits and triples.
