For a quarter century, Art Zeleznik served the UCF Athletics Administration with the highest of class, professionalism and expertise. He retired from UCF Athletics in 2009 after serving as the Associate Athletics Director for Support Services. In that role he assisted with the facilities master planning, as well as facilities design and construction management. Among his duties was the game day management director for UCF football game operations. He also had the opportunity overseeing several support services including strength and conditioning, equipment, sports medicine and video services as well as serving as the administrator for the Knights' National Championship spirit program.

Zeleznik came to UCF after spending 18 years as an assistant football coach at the high school, collegiate and professional levels. A graduate of Wittenberg University with a bachelor's degree in physical education, Zeleznik received his master's degree in education and administration from Xavier University. His football coaching experience includes a position with the Detroit Lions, as well as stints at Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Wichita State, Western Kentucky, Xavier and the Carolina Chargers.
