UCF track & field closed out its regular-season slate Wednesday night, earning 11 top-five finishes at the North Florida Twilight Invitational in Jacksonville, Florida.

ONE BAR AWAY
Paige Byrnes set a new career best in the pole vault, clearing 12-4.5/3.77m. Her performance came up short of the UCF school record of 12-6/3.81m set by Erica Weiss in 2013, but the senior did top her previous best by over three inches.

THROWING THINGS
Four finished top seven in the hammer with Tayla Greene leading the way, marking toss of 189-8.5/57.82m. Tayler McDuffie, who finished seventh, was the lone Knight to record a personal best in the event, throwing the implement 174-4.5/53.15m.

Jhane' Carter grabbed the shot put crown with a throw of 49-7.5/15.12m.

SPRINTING TO THE FINISH
SheKara Martin earned a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash, matching her season-best time of 11.66.

J'Nea Bellamy earned a runner-up finish in the 200-meter run, clocking in at 23.65 in her first outdoor 200m run this season. Alissa Williams finished fifth with a personal best time of 23.82

Martin and Williams came back to run in the Knights' winning 4x100-meter relay with a new season-best time of 44.30. Ashely Jocelyn and Christal Peterson also ran on the relay, which now ranks top 15 in the NCAA East Region.

GETTING QUICKER
UCF senior Amirah Johnson snatched the 1,500-meter run title with a new personal-best time of 4:35.

Tere Cooley grabbed a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run, with a new career-best time of 2:10.30.

HOSTING THE LEAGUE
