The UCF track and field team capped off the 2015 NCAA East Preliminary Round on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida. The Knights were unable to add any championships qualifiers after Anne-Marie Blaney and Tayla Greene punched their tickets on Thursday.

Blaney attempted to pull the 10,000m and 5,000m double on Saturday after earning a spot at the NCAA Championships on Thursday in the 10k. The redshirt junior came up short in the 5k, running a time of 16:27.77 and taking ninth in second heat. She missed earning a spot to the NCAA Championships by 11 seconds.

The Knights also missed out on qualifying in both the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays. UCF took 15th in the 4x100m with a time of 44.94. In the 4x400m, the Black and Gold finished 19th, respectively.

Blaney and Tayla Greene are the lone UCF competitors to qualify for the NCAA Track & Field Championships, June 8-11. Blaney qualified in the 10,000m, while Greene earned a spot in the hammer throw.
