TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (UCFKnights.com) -- After two rounds of play and a 2-over round on Tuesday, sophomore Manuel Elvira is tied for 26th place at the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional.
Elvira is currently 3-over par and eight strokes off the lead at the tournament, which is being played at the Ol' Colony Golf Course and hosted by the University of Alabama.
After a Monday round that featured four bogeys and three birdies, Elvira was a bit more consistent Tuesday. But it came out to a 74, after carding a first-round 73. While he only recorded two bogeys in the second round, Elvira was unable to convert any birdies leaving him at +2 for the day.
Elvira will tee off in the third and final round of the regional tournament Wednesday morning at 9:20 a.m. He will tee off on the back nine. Follow along with live scoring by clicking here.
