TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (UCFKnights.com) - Sophomore Manuel Elvira is tied for 18th after the first day at the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional. The tournament began Monday at the Ol' Colony Golf Course.
Elvira was one-over par in his first round, carding a 73. He is five strokes off the lead, currently held by Colorado's Jeremy Paul, who fired a first-round 68 (-4).
