ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF fell on Sunday to Tulane 6-0 to complete its three-game set at the UCF Baseball Complex. Sophomores Chris Williams, Andrew Deramo, Drew Faintich and junior Campbell Scholl combined to provide five scoreless innings of relief for UCF.

The Knights (20-22, 5-7 The American) saw juniors Ryan Crile, Kam Gellinger and Luke Hamblin pick up base hits. Three-consecutive walks drawn by the Knights loaded the bases with one out in the ninth inning, but UCF was unable to breakup the shutout.

Tulane (26-13, 7-7 The American) was led by Jeremy Montalbano and Jarret Dehart with two RBI each, while Alex Massey improved to 4-4 and struck out six over seven innings of work.

The Knights make the trip to Florida Atlantic on Tuesday with the contest starting at 6 p.m. A three-game set in Tampa against rival USF is on tap for April 30-May 1.

UCF begins a four-game homestand on May 4 with a 6:30 p.m. start against Jacksonville. The contest will serve as the final Dollar Dog Knight of the season.
