UCF track & field closed out the UCF Invitational, winning 10 event titles Saturday afternoon at the UCF Track & Field Complex.

JUMPER AROUND
The Black & Gold's jump crew had a great day at the track, recording nine personal bests out of 11 performances. Kebreyona Acker and Paige Byrnes were the lone jumpers to both set a new PR and win their event. Acker cleared 5-4.25/1.63m in the high jump to tie teammate Allison Lampert for the event win, while Byrnes soared over 11-7.75/3.55m in the pole vault for the event title.

THROWING YOUR WEIGHT AROUND
UCF capped off a sweep of the throw on Saturday with Jhane' Carter winning the shot put and Tayla Greene finishing first in the discus. On Friday, Chelsea Gobourne (weight throw) and Precious Williams (javelin) earned victories in their respective events.

Next week, the Knights hit the road for the first time this outdoor season with a few competitors headed to Palo Alto, California, for the Stanford Invitational, April 1-2, while the rest of the team goes to Gainesville, Florida, for the Pepsi Florida Relays, March 31-April 2.
