ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF held its USTA Campus Kids Day on Saturday afternoon following a hard-fought 4-1 loss to UT Arlington. The Knights held a clinic and autograph session for the kids that were in attendance following the match at the UCF Tennis Complex.

In a tight doubles competition, junior Cortney Cesarini and sophomore Monica Matias won a tiebreaker at No. 2, 7-5, to tie the contest at one-all. The Mavericks (5-0) rallied to clinch the first point of the match at No. 1 with a 7-6 triumph.
Freshman Natalia Serrano at No. 6 delivered a 6-4, 6-0 straight-set victory to even the score, 1-1. The Barcelona, Spain, native moved to 5-3 on the year.
UTA captured the match with a third-set win at No. 4 by Agustina Serio, 6-2, after Cesarini battled back and won the second frame, 7-5.
When the match was called, sophomore Emilia Granstrom held a 5-3 lead in the decisive third set in her match at No. 3. Also on the court was senior Caroline Eberhart at No. 1.
The Knights continue their homestand on Friday with an American Athletic Conference match at 10 a.m. against UConn.
