ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) -- A breakout performance from one of its rookies wasn't enough to lift the UCF women's basketball team Wednesday night. Memphis walked out of CFE Arena with a 69-52 victory to claim the regular season series.

UCF forward Tolulope Omokore shined in her first career start with her first career double-double, becoming the sixth Knight this year to achieve the feat. Since Joi Williams took over the program nine years ago, no other Black and Gold squad has boasted as many players with double-doubles.

But the Tigers shined just as bright from the 3-point line, where they did the most damage by netting nine treys to the Knights' one. Mooriah Rowser accounted for five of those 3-pointers and a game-high 26 points.

Oh My, Omokore!
? Coming off career-high numbers at SMU, freshman Tolulope Omokore obliterated those previous bests with her first double-double on Wednesday.
? Omokore paced the team with 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, marking the first time she led UCF in either category in a game.
? The Maryland native was averaging 1.5 points, 1.1 rebounds and 5.3 minutes per game heading into the matchup.

Polacek's Prize Shot
? Freshman Ashley Polacek wowed the crowd with a buzzer-beating bomb from well behind the half-court line to close the first quarter.
? It was the second half-court shot made at CFE Arena in 24 hours. During halftime of Tuesday's men's game, a fan won free Wendy's for a year after making his half-court shot in the dark.

Up Next
? UCF heads to Tulsa for its second matchup with the Golden Hurricane.
? The Knights pulled off a thrilling win in the final moments against Tulsa on Jan. 30. Zykira Lewis drained a 3-pointer with 8 seconds left for a 75-74 win.
