ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) -- Junior Zykira Lewis led three Knights in double figures but USF got the better of its rival in the UCF women's basketball team's 88-49 loss Sunday afternoon.

The Knights came ready to play and held a 14-11 advantage over the No. 15 team in the country at the end of the first quarter. Sophomore Fifi Ndour beat the buzzer on a 3-pointer from the top of the key thanks to the hand-off from freshman Jamesha Paul.
USF responded with an 18-4 run in the second quarter that allowed the Bulls to gain a double-digit advantage that they never relinquished. They used the arc to keep running, netting 12-of-22 3-pointers (54.5 percent) to secure the win.
Lewis finished with 12 points, leading the Knights for the eighth time in their last nine games. Freshman Ashley Polacek recorded her second-straight outing of 10 points, achieving the feat for the first time since November.
Sophomore guard Aliyah Gregory added 10 points in a season high 39 minutes.
