ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - With blustery conditions on Saturday, the Knights had a slight setback on the second day of the UCF Quad Tournament going up against Rice in doubles and FIU in singles. Sophomore Emilia Granstrom notched the lone singles victory for the Knights at the UCF Tennis Complex.

Granstrom took the first set against her foe from the Panthers, 6-2, and captured a second-set tiebreaker, 7-4, to notch the victory.
A pair of seniors Caroline Eberhart and Clare Mendell battled, but fell in the decisive third set. Eberhart won the first set, 6-2, while Mendell won five-straight points to rally back from a 5-2 deficit to win the second frame before dropping the final stanza.
The final day of the UCF Quad Tournament begins at 10 a.m. for the Knights. The start time has been pushed back one hour due to court conditions.
