UCF WBB vs. Oklahoma State (12-22-15) - Images by UCF Knights
ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) -- Three Knights scored in double figures but it wasn't enough to lift the UCF women's basketball team to a win over Oklahoma State on Tuesday afternoon. UCF fell 74-55 in its final home game of 2015.

The Knights hung with the Cowgirls in the first half, keeping it to a single possession, 32-29, by the break. Oklahoma State's big third quarter (21-10), though, proved to be the difference maker.
Freshman Kayla Thigpen led the Knights with 18 points and was joined by junior Zykira Lewis' 14 points and Joslyn Massey's 10 points.
The Knights contained the Big 12's leading scorer, Brittney Martin, to nine points in the first half but she made up for it in the second half to finish with a game-high 27 points.
First Half Fight
? UCF ended the first quarter with a lead for the first time since Nov. 24, commanding a 14-12 edge.
? The lead changed three times and the score tied twice more during the first 20 minutes.
? Nyala Shuler cut the deficit to three by halftime thanks to the pass that Zykira Lewis dumped off as she cut through the lane with 39 seconds to go before the break.
Thigpen For 18, Again
? UCF freshman Kayla Thigpen matched her best scoring performance of the season with 18 points.
? Tuesday's performance marked her third double-digit outing of the year.
? Her 4-of-6 showing from the free throw line is a season high for the rookie.

? UCF will close out 2015 against Florida in the American/SEC Challenge at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on Dec. 30 at 7 p.m.
