The UCF cross country program closed out its 2015 season on Friday morning with a 21st-place finish at the NCAA South Regional in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Sophomore Holly Wooley was the first Knight to cross the finish line for the seventh time this season, grabbing 47th place. The Palm Bay, Florida, native ran 21:31.72 and was the second American Athletic Conference finisher in the race.
Classmate Rosie Chamberlain also cracked the top 100, finishing 97th overall, respectively. The England native posted career-best time of 22:27.53, topping her previous best by seven seconds, which she ran two weeks ago at the conference meet.
The Knights now turn their focus to the indoor track & field season, which kicks off Jan. 15-16 in Lexington, Kentucky, for the Kentucky Invitational.
