FORT MYERS, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF men's tennis team turned in a successful second day of the FGCU Fall Invite on Saturday.

In singles action, sophomore Tyler Pate earned his second victory of the weekend in the White Singles bracket. He defeated FGCU's Lucas Vaz, 6-4, 6-2. Junior Arjun Watane won the tiebreaker to defeat FGCU's Sam Chaffin in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (3).

The duo teamed up for UCF's first doubles victory of the weekend. In Green doubles, Pate and Watane defeated FGCU's Ricky Ventura and Chris Perrigan, 8-6.

In the Blue Singles, sophomore Nico De Fraia earned his first victory of the weekend. After a 6-3 opening set victory, De Fraia won the tiebreaker to defeat FGCU's Oliver Landert in straight sets.

The Knights close out the tournament on Sunday. Play will begin at 10 a.m. at the FGCU Tennis Complex.
