Wooley finished the five kilometer course in 18:02.90, helping the Knights to a fourth place finish out of nine Division I teams in competition. This came one week after Wooley won the individual title at the FL Runners Invite in Titusville.

UCF put two others in the top 13 on Friday as Kalleigh Forrester placed 11th and Amy Ankli took 13th overall. Forrester outdid her career best once again, crossing the line in 18:43.40, while Ankli was just 14 seconds behind at 18:57.90.

The Knights were without one of their top runners in Laura Korsmit this weekend, so Rosie Chamberlain and Ashton McMurray picked up the final two scoring spots for UCF, placing 22nd and 46th, respectively. Chamberlain clocked in at 19:13.10, while McMurray recorded a time of 20:01.40.

Jacksonville won the team title with 63 points, edging out Florida A&M with 66. USF took third with 81, while the Knights were fourth with 94 points. FAU, Florida State, Stetson, Florida and Miami rounded out the field.

Running unattached due to redshirting this season, Anne-Marie Blaney earned the overall individual title for the second straight year. She bested all other runners by over 30 seconds, crossing the line in 17:23.20.

The Knights will next compete at the USF Invitational. The meet is scheduled for Oct. 16 in Tampa.
