ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF women's soccer team pulled out a 3-1 win over Tulsa on Sunday, and all anyone could talk about was the bicycle kick.

Junior forward Carol Rodrigues -- easily the weekend's MVP with four goals, including both game-winners -- wowed the crowd with her goal off a bicycle kick in the 50th minute from sophomore Bridget Callahan's free kick.

"Everybody was hyped," Rodrigues said. "That was amazing -- a moment that I'm never going to forget. ... I tried to hold my mark off and then as soon as I got the ball up, the only option I had was a bicycle. So I tried and I was really happy that I got the goal."

Rodrigues' score ignited the Knights after Tulsa's Lauren King netted the equalizer three minutes earlier by cleaning up Lana Bermel's corner kick that goalkeeper Vera Varis had punched out.

UCF senior midfielder Ashley Spivey gave her team a little cushion in the 56th minute when she put away a penalty kick that was awarded to the Knights after a handball penalty in the box.

UCF (8-5-1, 3-3-0) outscored its opponents 6-2 this week.

Corner Connection
? Rodrigues got the Knights on the board in the fourth minute with her header off senior midfielder Madison Barney's corner kick.
? Barney notched her third assist of the year and coupled with her goal in the Miami game, she matched her career-high season-point total (5) on Sunday.

Take That, Tulsa
? With Sunday's result, the Knights continued their perfect series record against Tulsa.
? The Knights improved their all-time record to 10-0-1 over the Golden Hurricane, including a 4-0-1 mark at home.
? UCF has outscored the Golden Hurricane 29-6 in that span and put up six blank sheets in the series.

Up Next
? UCF heads to Texas for its final road matchups of the regular season.
? The Knights will stop at SMU first on Thursday. The last time UCF visited Dallas, the team brought home the 2013 regular season trophy -- its first American title.
? UCF will then travel to Houston on Oct. 18.
