The Knights got behind early when Jordan Cotleur scored in the 12th minute after a race to the ball with goalkeeper Vera Varis. Cotleur got to it first and chipped it in for her second game-winner of the year.

Cotleur capitalized again in the 89th minute when a free kick from Kelly Latimer found her in front of the net, allowing her to head it to ensure that her team's unbeaten streak remained intact at nine-straight.

Although UCF (6-5-1, 1-3-0 American) rattled off 12 shots in the match, only two were on goal as many of the Knights' attempts were blocked by Cincinnati defenders.
