TITUSVILLE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - For the fourth straight year the UCF cross country team traveled to nearby Titusville to compete in the FL Runners Invitational. For the fourth straight year, the Knights came home to Orlando champions.

UCF swept the top four places, led by Holly Wooley who took home the individual championship. Wooley cross the line in a season-best time of 17:59.90 for five kilometers, topping all other competitors by more than 45 seconds.
A trio of teammates came through within 11 seconds of each other to give the Knights four finishers before any other team had one. Kalleigh Forrester placed second in a career-best 18:45.40.
Rosie Chamberlain was next for UCF, taking third in 18:51.60, while senior Amy Ankli was fourth in 18:56.60. It marked the fastest time this season for both Chamberlain and Ankli.
Ashton McMurray rounded out the scoring for the Knights, placing 10th overall with a time of 19:50.60, also a season-best. In all, nine out of 11 UCF harriers posted their fastest time of 2015 on Friday.
UCF's 20 team points best the other seven college teams in competition, which included Stetson and Bethune-Cookman.
The Knights will next compete at the Florida State Invitational on Oct. 2.
