Franklin, Tenn. (UCFKnights.com) - The Knights fell six spots at the Mason Rudolph Championship Saturday. UCF is now tied for 14th heading into the final round.
After starting the day tied for ninth among individuals, junior Ashley Holder was in good position most of the day but could not find enough birdies down the stretch. She carded a solid round of even par but is now tied for 14th among individuals.
Senior Mary Mulcahy and sophomore Laura Sojo turned in matching rounds of 76 (+4) while junior Johanna Larsson ended the day with a 77 (+5). Junior Ayaka Nakayama shot 80 (+8).
In team play, Georgia took the overall lead firing an impressive second round of -13. The Bulldogs (-15) now have a one-shot lead over Alabama (-14). Northwestern (-12) fell to third and is now three shots off the pace.
