ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The Knights wrapped up the second day of the UCF Quad Tournament registering two doubles wins against Tulane. UCF picked up three singles victories against North Florida to end the afternoon.

Sophomore Emilia Granstrom and senior Clare Mendell started off the doubles action posting a 6-2 victory over the Green Wave. The doubles tandem of freshman Diana Dehterevich and sophomore Monica Matias followed suit winning their match, 6-3.

The three seniors, Caroline Eberhart, Sofia Baptista and Mendell, set the pace for the Knights each delivering a sweep in their singles matches.

Eberhart started it off winning her match 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot. Baptista playing in the No. 4 position cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory. A 6-3, 6-3 win recorded by Mendell in the No. 5 spot rounded out the match for UCF.

The Knights are back in action on Sunday at 9 a.m. starting with doubles against Mercer, followed by singles against Tulane.
