The Knights opened up a three-shot lead over fifth place Denver and trail Ohio State (Third) by the same margin. Arizona continues to lead all teams enjoying an 11-stroke advantage over host team Florida (second).
UCF Head Coach Emily Marron said the course has been set up tough and continues to challenge players each day. With Arizona holding a nearly insurmountable lead, she has the team focused on finishing strong.
"I'm really proud of how the team has fought here," Marron said. "This course is playing hard and you have to fight for pars all day. If we can have a strong finish we would be happy with top 3 in this field."
The final round shotgun start is slated for 9:15 a.m. Sunday.
