WILMINGTON, N.C. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF Sophomore Ashley Holder sits alone atop the individual leaderboard after day two of the Landfall Tradition at the Pete Dye Course at the Country Club of Wilmington. In team competition, the Knights dropped five spots to ninth.

After starting the day tied for second, Holder carded an impressive 70 (-2) taking a one-shot lead over South Carolina's Nanna Madsen. Holder turned in four birdies and 12 pars to take the lead into Sunday's final round.

Last season, Holder was named the American Athletic Conference Player and Freshman of the year. She led the Knights with a 72.8 scoring average and five individual top-ten finishes.

Senior Monifa Sealy recorded the next best round for the Knights with a 73 (+1). Sealy is tied for ninth overall. Laura Sojo tallied a 75 (+3) and Fanny Cnops turned in a 76 (+4) to round out UCF's day-two scoring.

In team play, UCF is eight shots off the pace set by co-leaders Wake Forest and Oklahoma State. Purdue and Virgina are tied for third with Florida, Alabama and South Carolina all tied for fifth.

Sunday's final round is slated to begin at 8:45 a.m.
