ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF men's golf team is 2-over par and tied for 11th after two rounds at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational (TCI) being held at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. The Knights posted a Monday score of 291 in the prestigious 15-team event.

Senior Linus Vaisanen climbed from 36th to 28th on the individual leaderboard on Monday. The native of Finland carded an even-par round of 72 in the second round to go with his 71 (-1) on Sunday to sit at 1-under for the tournament. Sophomore Federico Zucchetti also climbed the leaderboard, moving from 53rd to 30th. Zucchetti is even for the tournament after posting a 2-under 70 on Monday to lead the Knights.

Sophomore Ryan Stovash and senior Jose Joia each slipped down the standings Monday. The duo has tallied identical scores of 71 and 75 in the first two rounds. They are each +2 for the tournament. Juuso Kahlos rounds out the UCF lineup at 4-over and sits in a tie for 60th. He recorded back-to-back rounds of 74 in the first two rounds. He ranks second in the tournament with 29 pars.

Vanderbilt sits in first place after the second round. The Commodores took over the top spot with a two-round total of 550 (-26). It's a three-team race, with Florida State just two strokes off the pace and round-one leader Texas Tech just four strokes back.

Tuesday's third and final round is slated to begin at 8 a.m. The Knights tee off at 8:25 a.m., going off the 10th tee.
