CHARLESTON, S.C. (UCFKnights.com) - Day two of the Powerade Cougar Classic saw the Knights fall to sixth in the overall team competition. However, thanks to strong play by junior Monifa Sealy and freshman Laura Sojo, UCF is still in the hunt.

Sealy and Sojo turned in matching rounds of -2 Monday, each notching three birdies on the day. Both players moved up five spots in the individual standings. Sojo finished the day tied for ninth and Sealy is tied for 14th.

Defending national champion Duke and second-ranked UCLA both climbed into the top five on the team leaderboard after impressive rounds. Day-one leader Wake Forest gave way to Arkansas who will take a two-shot lead into Tuesday's final round.

The Knights will need to play well tomorrow to finish near the top. Head Coach Emily Marron says she is pleased with the effort so far against a very talented field. She believes the Knights are in good position to move up in the final round.

I think we have some low scores in us, Marron said. We hope to stay aggressive tomorrow and finish strong.
