WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (UCFKnights.com) - It was a great weekend of racing for the UCF rowing team at the Knecht Cup as they picked up four victories, including the 3rd varsity eight crown. The Knights got wins from their Varsity Four and Varsity Eight boats as well as a pair of wins from the 3V8.

It was beautiful race weekend weather New Jersey, head coach Becky Cramer said. Conditions were ideal with a slight tail wind. We're really proud of all of our boats and how hard they competed.

The varsity 8 boat consisting of Olivia Hecimovich, Carly Burleson, Jasmine Blais, Lauren Aiello, Alison Ponce, Camille Everett, Ginni Dunlop, Calena Illan and Ashleigh Boyd placed seventh out 26 teams.

The 2nd varsity 8 boat consisting of Rebecca Campbell, Kaitlyn Ward, Kayla Thieken, Brianne Addison, Amy Compare, Olivia Staples, Genevieve Lorbergs, Noelle Crosby and Leonie Hamel placed eighth out of 18 teams.

The 3rd varsity 8 boat consisting of Monica Rooker, Kathryn DiVincenzo, Megan O'Hara, Jasmine Robinson, Andrea Hebditch, Julia Chase, Christina Cassolato, Elizabeth Burchers and Danielle Taylor placed first out of 10 teams.

The 1st varsity 4 boat consisting of Kristen Taylor, Erin Corrigan, Niki Patten, Lauren Wasko and Andrea Krebs placed fourth out of 22 teams.

The 2nd varsity 4 boat consisting of Bre'Onna McNeal, Morgan Hoisington, Crystal Victor, Carla Ortiz and Abby Justinger placed second out of 15 teams.
