OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF rowing team posted a big victory on Saturday in Oak Ridge over Tennessee. There was a cross tailwind that changed to a cross headwind during racing which created just slight chop on the water.
It was a great day of racing and we are excited to see our speed increasing, head coach Becky Cramer said.
The 3rd Varsity 8 boat of Monica Rooker, Kathryn DiVincenzo, Megan O'Hara, Jasmine Robinson, Andrea Hebditch, Julia Chase, Christina Cassolato, Elizabeth Burchers and Michelle Buitron cruised to a dominant 30-second victory in the final race of the day with a time of 7:19.5.

The Knights will return to the water this weekend when they travel to Princeton, N.J. to race multiple prestigious teams at the Knecht Cup on April 12 and 13.
