ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Action continues to pick up for the UCF women's tennis team in the spring season. The Knights will be hosting North Florida Wednesday and Georgia Southern Friday with both matches getting underway at 2 p.m.
Admission to the UCF Tennis Complex is free.
UCF moved to 2-1 after a victory over Bethune-Cookman Feb. 5. Cortney Cesarini is the first Knight to reach double-digit singles wins as she is 10-9 on the season, highlighted by a 2-0 mark at the No. 4 position.
The Ospreys are 1-0 on the year with a win over Florida A&M, and this will be the second trip to Orlando this year as they competed in the UCF Invitational in January.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are 3-1, collecting victories against Presbyterian, Alabama A&M and Alabama State before falling to Auburn Feb. 9.
UCF is 5-5 all-time vs. North Florida, and 3-3 vs. Georgia Southern.
