ATHENS, Ga. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF's trip to the ITA Regionals came to a close Sunday, as the event is being hosted this year by the University of Georgia.
Picking up a singles win for the Knights was Josephine Haraldson, who topped Georgia State's Maryna Kozachenko in the consolation round, 3-6, 6-2, 1-0(10-6). It was announced later Sunday afternoon that the consolation bracket would not be completed before the tournament wraps up Monday.
The fourth of five fall tournaments is up next for UCF when it heads across town for the Collegiate Clay Court Invitational at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Oct. 24-27. Haraldson, Caroline Eberhart, Courtney Griffith and Cortney Cesarini are all set to take part in the event.
