ATHENS, Ga. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF women's tennis' return trip to the ITA Southeast Regional got started Friday in Athens, Ga., with the University of Georgia hosting this year's event.

Representing the Knights in doubles, Caroline Eberhart and Josephine Haraldson pulled out an 8-3 victory over Kennesaw State's Virginie Stein and Tamara Plocher, 8-3, pushing the duo into the round of 16.

Eberhart and Haraldson will now focus their attention on Georgia State's Marcia Tere-Apisah and Tarani Kamoe, who upset the top seed from Georgia Friday.

In singles, Annika Hepp got going in the B Draw, and delivered a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win against Mercer's Amanda Bertani.
