ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF's women's tennis team is set to travel to Athens, Ga., for its third fall event and the 2013 USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships Friday-Monday.

The Black and Gold has hosted the Knights Invitational and also participated in the Bedford Cup in Gainesville so far this year. UCF carries a combined 22-16 singles record, led by Cortney Cesarini who has four victories, while Sofia Baptista, Caroline Eberhart and Clare Mendell each have three.

On the doubles courts, Eberhart and Josephine Haraldson have played the most matches, going 2-2 together.

Following the ITA Regionals, UCF will take part in an event at Disney from Oct. 24-27. The next time the Knights travel out of the state will be for dual matches at Furman and UNC-Asheville in March.
