ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The history and tradition of the UCF men's basketball program were on display Thursday inside the UCF Practice Facility as over 20 Knights took part in an alumni game. Members of the UCF Victory Club, who watched the contest, were treated to 3-point shooting clinics from Josh Peppers and Brad Traina, crisp passes from Mike O'Donnell and Taylor Young and high-flying dunks from Dave Diakite.

The game was organized by O'Donnell, who hopes to make the event an annual affair that can be played inside the CFE Arena. UCF head coach Donnie Jones served as the coach of the gold squad, while the program's all-time leading scorer, Bo Clark, the head coach at Flagler, led the black team.

"It is great to have all of these guys back here, having a great time and being part of our program," Jones said. "Our alumni are a huge part of our program and this is a place where they are always welcome. I hope that this is something that we can do more often."

Several members of the current UCF squad watched the contest, as did recent alums like Keith Clanton and veterans like Troy Lindbeck, Jim Flanagan and Tony Marlow. The teams played two 20-minute periods, with a running clock.
