ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Preseason accolades continue to roll in for the UCF football team. The latest to be honored was senior defensive lineman E.J. Dunston, who was named to the College Football Performance Awards Defensive Watch List.

Dunston became the third Knight to earn a spot on the 2013 CFPA Watch List, joining quarterback Blake Bortles and tight end Justin Tukes.

A menace in the trenches, Dunston contributed across the board on UCF's stout defensive line in 2012. The Edgewater High School alum posted 39 total tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and a sack. The 6-foot-2, 309-pounder also showed off his brute strength, causing three forced fumbles while recovering one of them.

The three-year letterwinner shined brightly in UCF's 31-24 victory at UTEP back on Nov. 10, 2012. In the hotly contested battle, Dunston tallied seven tackles, four of the solo variety, and one for loss. He tied a UCF record with two forced fumbles while he recovered one of them.
