ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Just one month remains from the start of Todd Dagenais' Central Florida Volleyball Camps at UCF. Three skills camps are scheduled for July 6th through July 14th. A limited number of spots remain at each session so prospective campers are encouraged to sign up immediately to ensure a spot. The camps will provide the athletes with a high-level training experience that is unlike most other summer camp programs throughout the country.
"We are so excited to have just one month left before the start of the first camp," assistant coach and camp director Nicki Holmes said. It is going to be a great experience for not just the campers, but the coaches as well."
People wishing to enroll their campers for the summer program are encouraged to visit www.centralfloridavolleyballcamps.com and register online, or to call coach Holmes at 407-242-6603 to directly to reserve their spot. Campers can select the option of staying overnight or commuting daily to the camp held entirely in the UCF Venue. For additional information follow the official twitter feed of the camp at https://twitter.com/CFVBallCamp
The first camp will be an All Skills Camp that is open to campers of all ages. This camp will focus on improving the six basic skills to play successful volleyball. The second scheduled camp is the college prep/elite camp. This camp is limited to athletes entering their sophomore season of high school volleyball or higher. This is a camp experience like none other in the Southeastern United States. It is designed to take a player's game to the collegiate level by exposing them to the daily training systems used in a NCAA Division I and National Team program. The final camps are hitter, setter and libero specific and are also open to all ages.
Camp spots are filling up fast, Holmes explained. With our 8:1 coach to camper ratio in effect, space is limited. However, we do not want any campers to miss out on this unique experience.
