AUBURN, Ala. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's golf team improved by eight strokes over its first round total in Friday's second round at the NCAA East Regional at the Auburn University Club.
The Knights shot a 16-over 304 Friday. After the second of three rounds, UCF sits at +40 and in 21st place overall. Robyn Doig was the top golfer for the Knights Friday, tallying a 1-over 73 to move to +8 for the tournament.
Carolin Pinegger has recorded back-to-back scores of 77 (+5) to go 10-over for the event. Paola Robles and Monifa Sealy have each recorded consecutive scores of 78 (+6) and sit at 12-over. Kaitlyn Price was 4-over for the day Friday and is 13-over for the tournament to round out the UCF scoring.
The third and final round of the NCAA East Regional will tee off Saturday morning.
