ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's golf team will travel to Ponte Vedra Beach for the Web.com Intercollegiate hosted by Jacksonville University at Marsh Landing Country Club Monday and Tuesday. The Web.com Invitational will be the final tune-up for the Knights prior to postseason play.

UCF will be part of a 20-team field at Marsh Landing, which includes 11 of the top 100, six of the top 50 and two of the top 20 teams in the nation. No. 14 Purdue and No. 17 Texas Tech are the two top-ranked teams in the field, while Conference USA foe East Carolina (No. 44) and the Knights (No. 41) are two more highly-rated squads entering the event.

The team has had a nice year and I'm proud of how they have sustained a high standard and have truly been able to compete against any team, UCF head coach Emily Marron said. We are in a good place going into the postseason and are poised to get an at-large bid for the NCAA Championship. Marsh Landing is a new venue for us and we see some strong competition again this week. As always, if we can play our game and get a few more putts to drop, we have a chance to contend for a win.

Coach Marron will send her usual lineup of Robyn Doig, Carolin Pinegger, Kaitlyn Price, Paola Robles and Monifa Sealy to the tee when Monday's shotgun start gets under way at 8:30 a.m. The Knights and the rest of the competitors will play two rounds Monday, with the third and final round slated for Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

The Par-72 Marsh Landing course will play at 5,987 yards for the Web.com Invitational.
