ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - It will be an eventful Saturday at the UCF Tennis Complex when the No. 64 UCF women's tennis hosts DePaul at 2 p.m. Fans are welcome to take part in USTA Campus Kids' Day at the courts, and admission is free for everybody.
Activities for Campus Kids' Day start at 4 p.m. and will include inflatables, popcorn, games with the players, autographs and much more.
UCF carries a 12-5 record on the year after road wins at East Carolina and UNC Wilmington. The Knights have won five in a row dating back to March 9, and are 7-0 on their home courts.
Individually, Genevieve Lorbergs has claimed a victory in four-consecutive decisions at the No. 1 singles spot. She is 12-4 at the position including three wins over ranked players. And freshman Caroline Eberhart looks to continue her climb up the single-season victories chart as she ranks tied for fifth with 23 wins this year.
DePaul boasts a 10-7 record and is led by No. 81 Matea Cutura. The Blue Demons won nine-straight matches at one point before losing the next five. That streak ended with a win over Cal State Fullerton March 26. DePaul is currently in a nine-match road trip to end the regular season.
The two teams only met in 1998-99 when the Knights topped the Blue Demons, 5-1.
