ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) -- UCF junior Greg Eason has been named Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week after a runner-up finish as the FAU Spring Break Championship.
Eason was 3-under par for the tournament and fired the competition's low round of 67. Eason carded rounds of 2-under, 4-under and 3-over par to finish in runner-up position at the FAU Spring Break Championship. The tournament included 18 teams and 96 golfers. His second round score of 67 was tied for the low round of the tournament.
Eason was one of just six golfers to finish the tournament under par. He recorded 13 birdies in three rounds, including five in his second round when he fired a 4-under 67.
This is Eason's third Golfer of the Week honor this season and seventh for his career.
