UCF Third After Two Rounds at C-USA Championship

GULF SHORES, Ala. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's golf team is currently in third place at the Conference USA Championship. The Knights are four strokes out of second place with the third and final round set for Tuesday at The Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club.

No. 20 Tulane is in the lead at 10-over for the tournament. No. 48 East Carolina is 22-over, while the 44th-ranked Knights are +26 through two rounds. No. 33 SMU is 31-over and Tulsa rounds out the top five in the 11-team event.

Robyn Doig and Monifa Sealy are leading the way for UCF. Both Doig (77-73) and Sealy (73-77) are +6 after two rounds and sit in a tie for 10th place. Paola Robles (74-77) is just one shot back of her teammates at +7 and is tied for 12th. Carolin Pinegger and Kaitlyn Price are tied for 22nd. Pinegger (77-76) and Price (78-75) are both 9-over for the tournament.

The third and final round of the Conference USA Championship is slated to tee off Wednesday morning.
