ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Playing in front of representatives from every NBA team, Keith Clanton excelled this past week at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in Virginia. The forward, who concluded his UCF career in March, helped his team win the event's title and was named to the all-tournament team.
In three games, Clanton averaged 12.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks in around 22 minutes per contest. The Orlando native connected on 50.0 percent of his shots from the floor.
Sixty-four of the top seniors in the country participated in the event and Clanton was one of 12 players to receive all-tournament honors.
Clanton had plenty of support in Virginia. UCF head coach Donnie Jones attended his first game on Wednesday and assistant coach Brendan Suhr watched all of his games.
