ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF rowing team continues its spring season this weekend with its only home regatta of the season. The Knights will go head-to-head with Northeastern in varsity and novice races while the novice team also battles Florida. The action takes place beginning at 9 a.m. at the UCF Intercollegiate Rowing Center on Lake Pickett.
Last week, the novice squad battled challenging tailwinds, yet still claimed its third-consecutive Robin Yeuell Trophy Saturday at the 33nd Annual Metro Cup Regatta.
This week, the Knights' varsity and novice squads will participate in four total events, with the varsity eight race starting at 9 a.m. The Knights will compete in three other events, with the novice 8 competing against Northeastern's 3rd varsity 8 and Florida's novice 1 and 2 boats at 9:20 a.m., the 2nd varsity 8 at 9:40 a.m. and the varsity 4 at 10 a.m.
