ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Enjoying spring break this week, the UCF women's tennis team travels to Tennessee for a pair of matches. The Knights will take on No. 25 Memphis Friday at 3 p.m., while they also battle Saint Louis in a neutral-site contest Saturday at 1 p.m.
This will mark the end of UCF's four-match road trip, as it will be back in Orlando to face Miami (Ohio) March 13 and Boston University March 16.
The Black and Gold brings a 7-4 record into the week, with a combined 39-27 singles record in dual-match play. Caroline Eberhart, Genevieve Lorbergs and Josephine Haraldson have won seven matches in their last 10 outings. In doubles, Lorbergs and Haraldson are 8-2 in their last 10 decisions together.
Memphis will be the first Conference USA opponent for the Knights this season, and it also boasts a 7-4 record. The Tigers have faced six-straight nationally-ranked foes coming into the match, picking up wins over No. 16 Virginia, No. 42 Kansas State, No. 44 Saint Mary's and No. 70 Columbia in the process. Courtney Collins ranks No. 23 in singles, while Collins and Kelly Gray are No. 58 in doubles.
Saint Louis stands at 7-3, and will face Murray State Friday before challenging the Knights. The Billikens are on a four-match winning streak, taking down Morehead State, SIUE, Chicago State and Dayton during that stretch.
