LAKE WORTH, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's golf team sits in second place and is just four strokes off the lead at the FAU Spring Break Championship, being held at The Fountains Country Club.

Hartford was 1-over par in Friday's first round, with the No. 39-ranked Knights nipping at their heels at +5. McNeese State, Florida Atlantic and Loyola-Chicago round out the top five squads after one round in the 18-team event.

UCF's Greg Eason is tied for second and was 2-under Friday, shooting a 69 on the Par 71 course. The Knights' Ricardo Gouveia is tied for 12th after the first round of play, carding a first-round score of 72 (+1). Jose Joia is currently tied for 18th at +2 (73). McCabe Buege and Kyle Wilshire each carded first-round totals of 75 (+4).
