ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Keith Clanton and Isaiah Sykes of the UCF men's basketball team were recognized for their strong play in 2012-13 Tuesday when they were both selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 11 Team. The duo helped the Knights record their third-straight 20-win campaign this past season.

The two honors marked the first time that a pair of Knights received all-district accolades in the same year. Selected and voted on by members of the NABC, the all-district 11 team includes players from Conference USA squads.

Clanton, the first Knight to earn multiple NABC All-District honors after garnering accolades a year ago, averaged 14.8 points and 8.5 rebounds as a senior. He concluded his collegiate career as UCF's all-time leader in rebounds, blocks, games played and starts. This past season, the Orlando native ranked fifth in C-USA in rebounds per game, second in blocks per outing (2.0) and sixth in field-goal percentage (53.5).

Clanton showed off his unselfishness by averaging a career-best 2.5 assists. He averaged 35.4 minutes per game and logged 1,096 minutes, the second-highest total in school history, and was named to the All-C-USA Second Team.

Sykes, who received All-C-USA First Team and all-league defensive team honors in early March, led the country with two triple-doubles. The junior scored in double digits in 27 of 31 games and averaged 16.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals. Sykes led C-USA in steals and is 19th nationally in the category. He finished league competition ranked in the top 10 in points (16.8/8th), rebounds (8.6/5th), assists (4.3/7th) and steals (2.3/1st), becoming the first player in C-USA history to conclude the year among the leaders in the four statistical categories.

"It is great that Keith and Isaiah were recognized by the NABC and its coaches," UCF head coach Donnie Jones said. "They both helped lead our team this season and I am proud of their accomplishments."
