ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF softball team will look to get back to its winning ways at the UCF Softball Complex as it returns to action against Liberty on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.

The Knights enter the game at 14-12 on the season, but have dropped their last four contests. UCF will celebrate 80's Knight with 80's trivia and music throughout the evening.

UCF is 3-0 all-time against Liberty, earning victories in 2002, 2008 and 2011. The last time the two teams played, the Knights scored four unanswered runs, which included two in the sixth inning, to defeat Liberty, 4-3, in extra innings. Former Knight Tawny Swan posted a walk-off single with two runners on in the bottom of the eighth inning to seal the win.

Offensively, the Flames are led by Sammi Shivock who leads the team with a .400 batting average, two home runs and 14 RBI. Liberty has an explosive offense as it has 12 home runs and is hitting .281 as a team in 16 contests.

The Black and Gold have 12 home games remaining at the UCF Softball Complex, with season tickets for the 2013 season costing only $30. Single game and season tickets are available for purchase online at UCFAthletics.com and Ticketmaster.com, or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) UCF-1000.
