ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The conclusion of the Wawa Weekend Classic between the UCF baseball team and Troy has been cancelled due to the Trojans' travel plans. Heavy rain came through the baseball complex around noon Sunday, delaying the start of UConn vs. Texas Tech until 2 p.m.
Fans who had a ticket to Sunday's contest will be able to redeem it on any future game at the UCF baseball complex this season.
The Knights (4-2) will take the extra day to prepare for their next home contest when in-state rival USF travels to Orlando Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. The matchup with the Bulls will be the first of eight Dollar Dog and Coke Knights in 2013.
