ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This past week, nearly half of the over the 30 UCF student equipment managers made trips to the New Image Youth Center in Parramore on Orlando's west side to impact youngsters attending the center's after-school program.
The managers, who assist UCF's teams on a daily basis, helped the children with homework, organized educational games and participated in fitness activities, including basketball and soccer games.
The visits to the New Image Youth Center were part of the ongoing community service efforts from the managers. In October, 20 managers volunteered at the YMCA Fall Festival in Winter Park.
